Suzanne H. dePillis has had a lengthy career in a wide range of litigation including personal injury and commercial cases in state and federal courts in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

DePillis joined Kline & Specter in 2008 after working 11 years at the large Philadelphia law firm of Duane Morris LLP, where she handled litigation involving medical malpractice, legal malpractice, toxic torts and a variety of business, contract, trade secret and employment matters.

She also represented insurers, agents and brokers in coverage, regulatory and professional liability disputes, including cases that involved bad faith claims, class-action litigation and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Her responsibilities ran the gamut, from counseling clients, arguing motions and preparing for and attending trials.

Prior to working at Duane Morris, dePillis was an associate with the Philadelphia firm of Bernstein, Silver and Agins, where she handled medical malpractice, product liability, mass tort, insurance and civil rights cases.

DePillis earned her law degree from the Villanova University School of law. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross, where she was a House Council representative, a reporter for The Crusader campus newspaper and also ran track and played field hockey. She spent her junior year studying abroad at Mansfield College at Oxford University, where she was a member of the Oxford Union.

DePillis is a member of the American Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association, where she was former secretary of the Executive Committee, Young Lawyers Division. She is a member of the fundraising committee for Crossing the Finish Line, a non-profit organization that provides vacations for cancer patients and their families.

She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
