Testimony ends in Pennsbury crash case

Pennsbury graduate Ashley Zauflik and her parents testified Friday in the lawsuit they brought against the Pennsbury School District over the school bus crash that cost Ashley her leg and caused other serious injuries.

Pennsbury's sole witness was a prosthetic expert who testified Friday about the lifelong cost of Ashley's injuries.

The school district has admitted it is liable for the crash. The suit focuses on how much money the Zaufliks should get from the district, which owned the school bus that ran over Ashley and several others. She was the most severely injured.

Testimony concluded early Friday afternoon. The jury will get the case following closing arguments, which are scheduled for Monday.
