Firm wins award for medical malpractice litigation

Serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York & Nationwide

Kline & Specter was among the winners when the The Legal Intelligencer recently announced the its Litigation Departments of the Year for 2016. The Philadelphia-based law firm won in the category for Medical Malpractice. The nation’s oldest legal newspaper selected firms as the best in Pennsylvania in nine categories, with the winners mostly large firms for practices including general litigation, insurance, labor and employment, class action and professional liability. The winners were selected by the newspaper’s editors based on “big victories and important cases that demonstrate why clients choose them when litigation is on the table.” The firms chosen had predominantly Pennsylvania attorneys but their cases sometimes extended beyond the state to courtrooms throughout the country. Kline & Specter has won among the largest medical malpractice verdicts and settlements in Philadelphia and throughout the region. The firm has more than 40 attorneys, five of whom are also highly skilled medical doctors, the most of any law firm in the United States.
