As a member of the Ridley Park Borough Council, Collins serves on the finance committee and is liaison to the board of recreation and the school district.

At Beasley Law, Collins won many academic honors, among them inclusion on the Dean’s List, distinguished class performance and outstanding oral advocacy for trial advocacy, best papers for criminal law and criminal appellate procedure and distinguished class performance for criminal law. She earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of Scranton.
