Shane Flanagan
Shane Flanagan came to Kline & Specter after four years litigating high-stakes disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants, work that gave him a close view of how the world’s most prominent companies and institutions build and defend their cases.
At Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, Flanagan handled antitrust, fraud, securities, trade secret, and tort matters.
He worked every stage of a case, from pre-litigation investigation through discovery, dispositive motions, and trial, and maintained an active pro bono practice.
Earlier, he interned for Chief Judge Juan Sánchez of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and in the Tort Litigation Unit of the City of Philadelphia Law Department.
A lifelong Philadelphian, Flanagan earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he served as Executive Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law and received a certificate in business management from the Wharton School of Business. He graduated with distinction from Temple University with a degree in Classics.
