Serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York & Nationwide

Kyle B. Nocho focuses his practice mainly on the firm’s burgeoning work with child sexual abuse and human trafficking cases as well as handling medical negligence and catastrophic injury litigation.

“Working on child sex abuse cases,” says Nocho, “gives me the chance to make a difference in children's lives by getting them the justice they deserve and by helping to make institutional changes to organizations' behavior to prevent this type of abuse from happening to other children.”

In a recent case, Nocho was co-counsel in litigation that resulted in a $10.6 million settlement for three young sisters who were sexually and physically abused after being reunited with their abusive father. Defendants in the case included a private child welfare agency and a youth residential care facility.

He was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers* Rising Star for 2022-2024, placing him among the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state who are 40 or younger or practicing 10 years or less.

Nocho has broad legal experience. Before joining Kline & Specter he was an attorney with Saul Ewing LLP, where he worked on commercial litigation, white-collar criminal defense and higher education cases, at which he represented colleges and universities in a wide range of matters from personal injury to constitutional claims.

Among matters Nocho worked on was a whistleblower case in which his firm represented a corporate employee who discovered potential bribery in the company’s international business. In another case, he represented an indigent woman who was being sued for personal injury; the claims against her were voluntarily dismissed.

Nocho had a distinguished education, graduating cum laude from Georgetown University before attending the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University, where he also graduated cum laude and achieved other academic honors.

He was a member of the Law Review and also was named a “Best Oral Advocate” for Legal Methods. As a law student, he worked with the law school’s Appellate Litigation Clinic for which he conducted research, composed appellate briefs and also argued in federal appellate court.

As a top student, Nocho worked during law school as a Dean’s Scholar in the offices of two professors and as a teaching assistant for a third.
